Fucking A

I would like to be explained in detail why voting for a 3rd party candidate is a waste of a vote and why I should be part of a shoddy 2 party system. I would also like to know whether you're red or blue. And I wanna know why you are and why I should be. I have failed to see the appeal of constantly being let-down.

    3rd party candidates just don't have the numbers to compete with the 2 major parties. There's a fear that if the vote for the two majors is close, the 3rd party may take away votes that could mean a win. But in reality it's up to the electoral college to vote in the pres, and the popular vote doesn't matter there (look at W's win.)
    Locally a 3rd party might have a better chance, but still it's an uphill battle.
